Roland SPi Series announced

Hamamatsu, Japan, September 1, 2009 — Roland DG Corporation, a leading worldwide provider of wide-format inkjet printers and Print&Cut devices for professional and general office use, today announced the new VersaCAMM SP-i series printer/cutters delivering reliable performance and unmatched print quality for a low initial investment.

 

With the addition of new SP-i models, the VersaCAMM series now includes four print/cut models: the high performance 54" VP-540i and 30” VP-300i, and the more affordable 54" SP-540i and 30" SP-300i.

Free Value-Up Campaign for VersaCAMM VP Series

Hamamatsu, Japan, February 5, 2009 — Roland DG Corporation, a leading worldwide provider of professional inkjet printers and printer/cutters, today announced the 2009 Free Value Up Campaign for existing customers of the company's VersaCAMM VP series printer/cutters and grand-format AdvancedJET AJ series printers. This Free Value Up Campaign is also available for new purchases made on or after February 5, 2009.

Roland’s free upgrade benefits thousands of existing customers. The 30” VersaCAMM VP-300 and 54” VP-540 are among the best selling inkjets in the company’s history. The AdvancedJET series includes the 104” AJ-1000 and 74” AJ-740.

Wasatch 6.5 with Job costing

Roland Price Rises

Roland have announced price rises on some of their product range to reflect the very weak position of Stirling against the Japanese Yen. 

In the last quarter of 2008 we saw price rises on all products shipped from Japan, USA and Europe due to the collapse of Stirling against all other currencies.  Unfortunately we have no control of the notice period the manufacturers chose for these increases. Please keep this in mind when looking at operating costs for 2009.
